For only the second time in its history as a national park has the upper Buffalo National River had an August water level high enough for the launching of canoes. And for the first time ever has that water level held for several days, not just a single day as it did back in 1979.
Our new RiverWind Lodge, overlooking upper Buffalo River country and perched atop on of Arkansas' tallest Ozark Mountains, is now open and ready to host weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats and other special group gatherings!
